Round Trip

Buckskin Frank and Billy Claiborne shot it out in old Tombstone.
Billy died, shot through the heart. Frank left for San Antone.

There he met old Jimmy Stiles, who had robbed a bank or two.
They rode across the desert and gathered up a crew.

William Bonney, John Wesley Hardin, Jesse James, and Curly Bill
then shot their way to Kansas, robbing trains just for the thrill.

In Abilene, they met James Hickock who arrested everyone.
Shot down poor Stiles, just to have a little fun.

The rest broke out of jail next day, and left for San Diego,
camping on the beach was fun, till Hardin shot his big toe.

They took him to a doctor, leaving Wes with his hurt pride
then headed up to Colton where the Earp clan did reside.

Jesse James and William Bonney got thrown in jail that day
while the other two escaped and made camp not far away.

Buckskin Frank and Curly Bill had to tie knots in their fate
so at dawn they rose and shot it out, when Bill died it was late.

Frank rode up to San Francisco, where he got a job in a general store.
kept to himself and laughed at night, till he died at seventy four.
