- New Morning

- New morning came across my path
today
- Wasn't sure I was ready to greet
it
- But then a lot of mornings are
like that
- If something has been giving me a
fit

- One tooth has been bothering
me
- and the other day I had to go to
town
- danged tooth wouldn't leave me
alone
- figured aspirin would keep the
pain down
-
- of course it didn't, so there I
was
- once again in the care of a
dentist
- seeking the pain relief this trip
would bring
- well the doc was kind to give me
the jist
-
- of the cause and treatment of my
ache
- and here I am waking up pain
free
- used to not like this time of
day
- then again that tooth has quit
bothering me
