- Boot Power
-
- I saw a western movie once when I
was just a kid
- I watched the good guy whip the
bad, he wasn't too well hid.
-
- Then I forgot about it and grew up
till I stopped.
- I grew up in the city, my cowboy
dream had popped.
-
- Then, one time traveling, I put on
a western boot.
- I wanted to see how it felt, just
a latent cowboy hoot.
-
- Next thing I knew, I'd bought a
pair and wore them everywhere.
- Then something else took over me,
I started acting fair.
-
- I said, "Excuse me ma'am" to some
and, "Can I help you sir?"
- and started looking at the world
without the city blur.
-
- I still live in the city but I've
got a cowboy code
- "Everyone wear western boots,
before you hit the road."
