bad.

gold.

- so they killed two men they'd
rolled.

- They headed south through Soledad
Pass
- and joined a gang quite
bold.

- They plotted to rob a
rancher
- with money, so they'd been
told.

- The innocent rancher was
kind
- as they let their plan
unfold.

- After killing the man and his
kin
- they found no money or gold

- so they hightailed it down the
coast.
- From this crime they'd not be
paroled.

- A posse had been struck to run
them down
- which was done on a beach in the
cold.

- They were taken to town, minus
one, and hung.
